Photographed at his home on The Wirral Liverpool. A photographer himself (look at his early shots of The Beatles) - he was really easy to photograph. This picture was done with obvious reference to this and his previous music career with The Scaffold. I think the house once belonged to his dad as bought by his brother when he hit the big time (there is quite a lot of reference to it in Hunter Davies’s biography of The Fab Four).
