This is one of my very first test shots taken at The Theatre Royal Haymarket. In my assisting days I would go around theatres knocking on the stage doors after work to try and photograph actors who I liked to put in my portfolio (or book). I could then show the photographs to magazine Art directors in the hope of getting commissioned. Leonard Rossiter was really receptive and just welcomed me in without any questions but he also had a definite way that he was going to look for the camera with no variations which was quite intimidating.
He starred in films and TV such as Billy Liar, Britannia Hospital, Barry Lyndon, A kind of Loving, Oliver, The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, Rising Damp and did a series of very funny commercials with Joan Collins for Cinzano.

Sizes are approximate and include a small border around the image and are designed for bespoke framing. Prints are made using archival inks on acid free high quality 300gsm paper. I strongly recommend using UV protective glass in your frames and keeping out of direct sunlight to prolong the life of your Photograph.
