Knocking on his door at 11.00am on a Saturday morning I was greeted by Ronnie holding a pint glass of Southern comfort and lemonade – Rock and Roll! I spent all day there with his wife and family who were all very charming and hospitable. Photograph was taken at home in Wimbledon for The Mail on Sunday. This picture was actually copied by the cartoonist Michael Heath in ‘Private Eye’ I’m proud to say.
